Ingredients

  • For the Rolls:
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese softened
  • cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup fresh berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or mixed berries, chopped if large
  • Optional Glaze:
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • You can also add a small amount of lemon zest to brighten the filling especially if using blueberries.

Method

Preheat and Prepare
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
Make the Cream Cheese Filling
  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gently fold in the berries. If using strawberries, chop them into small pieces. If using frozen berries, thaw them fully and pat dry well to remove extra moisture.
Prepare the Crescent Dough
  1. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles along the perforated lines.
Fill and Roll
  1. Place about 1 tablespoon of the berry cream cheese mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
  2. Carefully roll the dough toward the narrow tip, keeping the filling tucked inside. Lightly seal the edges if needed to help prevent leaking during baking.
Bake
  1. Arrange the stuffed crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each roll.
  2. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the rolls turn golden brown and flaky.
Add the Glaze (Optional)
  1. Let the rolls cool slightly after baking. In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Notes

Optional glaze can be added. Use fresh or thawed dried berries. Best served warm.
